Safety First
When you list your home for sale with a professional Realtor®, safeguards are built into the showing process. The electronic lockbox system ensures that a key code cannot be given to unauthorized parties or be viewed over an agent's shoulder for unauthorized entry at a later time. Every electronic key pad used for accessing the lockboxes is registered to a specific Realtor®. As a result, all showings will be conducted by a licensed real estate agent who has scheduled the showing through your listing company.
Even with these safety precautions, caution is still recommended regarding your possessions. We suggest jewelry, precious collections, medicines, breakables, firearms and other weapons, etc., be placed in secure places or removed from your home during the listing time. It's best to be proactive in protecting items you value!! | |

Tips for Home Sellers
The home selling process is complex and affects your entire household. Before you begin this process, you'll want to ensure that you have the most up-to-date information. When should you sell? How do you get the best price? If you need a city inspection, whom do you call? What kind of renovations should be made prior to listing your house?
The home selling reports below will assist you in answering the many questions that arise during the home selling process. When you're armed with the right information and an experienced real estate agent (that's me!), you'll be closer to reaching your goal - selling your home faster and for the best price.

Staging
"Staging" is the term used to describe the changes made in your home to prepare it for sale. We all "live" in our homes just as many of us lounge in our pajamas when we're home. However, you would not apply for a job or pay increase in your pajamas! Likewise, your house won't recruit a new buyer or the best price in its pajamas! Dressing your house in its best can sometimes be as simple as re-arranging furniture or cleaning windows. E-mail today, if you'd like additional info on staging your home for sale. |
